JK Technologies recommends the best technology to meet the client's
needs. Frequently, a Microsoft/Cisco network is the best solution for
many businesses. Our preferred Unified Threat Management firewall is SonicWALL,
which we strongly recommend and use to maintain PCI compliance on our
own networks.
However, JK Technologies is vendor neutral. We are a consultant
firm and we know and utilize a wide variety of systems. Our main server
is a Microsoft Server 2016. Our ticketing system runs on
Linux. We use Mac OSX for picture and video editing and general
Internet usage. We use Windows XP, Vista Business and Windows 7,
8, 8.1 and Windows 10
workstations/notebooks for production and accounting work. We
use SonicWALL devices to protect our business connections.
Modern networks are
often a collection of Windows and Mac computers, Linux servers, plus
Windows phones, Apple iPhones, Android Phones,
BlackBerry's, digital copiers such as the Konica Minolta Bizhub, and iPads.
We frequently integrate these systems.
Windows 10 is the best version of Windows that Microsoft has ever
produced. Mac OS X 10.7 (and later) integrates beautifully with
Windows Server and Exchange
